MY STORY
I asked myself a defining question:
With the time I have left, how can I add value to others and help release them into their purpose?
The answer became the foundation of Effective Influence.
To invest more of my time where I can make the greatest difference—helping people become the very best version of themselves, so they can live with greater purpose, lead with greater confidence, and create a positive influence wherever they go.
My approach is personal, practical and relational, drawing together coaching, mentoring, facilitation and the curiosity of a invested partner, and the experience of a strategic advisor. Every conversation is tailored to the individual, their circumstances and the outcomes they want to achieve.
I strive to be three things in every relationship: available, relatable and relevant. These values shape how I listen, challenge, encourage and walk alongside the leaders I work with.
Over many years I have built a broad and practical foundation of experience. Professionally, this spans operational leadership, production, human resources, health and safety, senior leadership, governance and board service. Beyond my professional career, I have invested extensively in community organisations, not-for-profit governance, start-up businesses and organisations navigating growth and change.
Together, these experiences have created what I often describe as a rich life library—drawn not only from success, but from challenge, learning and service. It enables me to bring practical wisdom, strategic thinking and genuine perspective to every coaching and mentoring partnership.
